Slitter-Rewinders
C1500/C1800 SLITTER REWINDER
Designed and manufactured primarily for high-speed winding of vellums, papers, and polyester films. Depending on machine configuration, the C1500/C1800 Slitter Rewinder can be equipped with rotary shear-, score-, or razor-slitting stations. These assemblies are driven by a servo motor for precise positioning.
CX1500/CX1800 SLITTER REWINDER
Designed to provide optimum product quality and service. The rear-mounted hydraulic unwind assembly includes full lateral travel of headstock and tailstock to accommodate various roll widths and positions within the web area. The manually controlled, hydraulically actuated tailstock engages the 3” unwind chucks to the master roll.
CR1500/CR1800 SLITTER REWINDER
The CR Series—CR1500/CR1800 Slitter Rewinder is designed to provide optimum product quality and service. The front unwind assembly, integrally mounted on the operator’s side of the mainframe or rear unwind assembly, includes full lateral travel of headstock and tailstock to accommodate various roll widths and positions within the web area.
CA1000 SLITTER REWINDER
Designed and manufactured primarily for high-speed slitting and winding of coated papers and films for narrow web slitting. Unwind assembly includes full lateral travel of the leaf type, air expanding shaft’s position within the web area. Automatic tracking is provided by a Fife edge guide.
6215 SLITTER REWINDER
The Voorwood Model 6215 Slitter Rewinder can be installed and placed in the production-line within minutes of delivery. The unwind comes with a 1½” diameter alloy steel shaft rotates in precision roller bearings. It can be easily removed to install the master roll and is fitted with hubs for 3” and 6” cores.
Winders
CU1500/CU1800 WINDER
Primarily used for high-speed winding of vellum, papers, and polyester reproductive films with a thickness range from.5 mil through 5 mils. The rear-mounted unwind assembly includes full lateral travel of headstock and tailstock to accommodate various roll widths and positions within the web area.
CU1500 TURRET WINDER
The CU Series—CU1500 Turret Winder is primarily used for high-speed winding of vellum, papers, and polyester reproductive films with a thickness range from 2 mils through 5 mils. The rear-mounted unwind assembly includes full lateral travel of headstock and tailstock to accommodate various roll widths and positions within the web area.
Laminators
LUR27 CONVERTER LAMINATOR
Applies transfer-finishing foils to the surface of PVC. Hot-stamp foils have the look of real woodgrain finishes, marbles, granites, solid colors, and geometric designs. The laminator has two heated foil applicator stations, which are incorporated in a heavy-duty machine frame for durability and precision.
Sheeter-Folders
CS610 CONVERTER SHEETER
The CS610 Converter Sheeter unwinds substrate from a finished roll, slits the roll into the desired widths, and then cuts the material into the desired length. It is configured with an unwind station, slitting module, and cutoff/sheeting section working as a continuous process.
CRD610 CONVERTER SHEETER
The CRD610 Converter Sheeter unwinds fibrous sheet with .125-.270 inch high ribs glued at even spacing along the width of the substrate. The machine counts the preset number of ribs and cuts the material to the desired length automatically. It contains an unwind station, counting/drive station, and sheeting section working as a continuous process.
CPF610 CONVERTER SHEETER
The CPF610 Converter Sheeter is a perforating/folding machine that unwinds substrate from a finished roll, perforates, and folds the edges of the substrate along the perforation line. The CPF610 then rewinds the material back into a finished roll. The unwind station consist of a single 3” cantilevered, air expanding, leaf shaft.
Attachments/Options
CC4312 CORE CUTTER
Provides an efficient method for cutting of cardboard cores of various ID’s from 3” to 12”, precisely every time. This manual core cutter is ideal for low volume core consumption. The CC4312 Core Cutter is a good option for many converters because it is of simple robust design, operator-safe, low-cost, and easy to use with recycled cores.
